from 57 reviewsGreat... more heavy duty than I expected. Very nice
Well made love the metal love the finish
Great product well made very sturdy. Had to sand down top corner on the front passenger side to fit hobbywing 2300 after that modific Everything lined up
So I was worried that it wouldn't work with my meus 8kg winch but with just a little trimming it worked perfect. I knew when buying it I'd have to do some trimming considering its made to fit the reefs winch. I'd buy again.
Well built a great course Marker!!
It's a cool piece. I'm pretty happy with it. Great value! I'm sure it's going to be with me awhile. After going back and forth if I wanted a bed cover, I'm glad I decided to get one. I even mounted whip antenna to it.
very please great product, had to do a little trimming but other than that it’s perfect and I really enjoy my hood clips
I have 2 Capras, I have both the inverted and the flat skids. I love em. The material is very slick when making contact with obstacles ensuring minimal resistance. The clearance gained is noticeable by looking and very noticeable when on the rocks and trails. Hardware included!!! Get out and RC!
Added ground clearance is a huge plus on a stock Capra. The Capra appearance is greatly improved and does not have the "fat belly" hanging down.
Note: the transmission does bump the stock interior and needs to be gently forced into place. Honestly not a big deal to do.
After 10 months of abuse I ordered a new set of panels for my Capra and wanted to post an updated review on these
The V1 RCCS panels are awesome, the hood, roof and door panels are thicker than the stock Currie panels and very durable, the trunk bed and fender panels are thinner and flimsy as they are intended to be for installation purposes. I've only discovered 2 draw backs to these but they're both not that big of a deal
1: The texture of the panels is not smooth it's rough sort of like used sandpaper which effects applying stickers, and because of the rougher surface the panels collect a lot of dirt, I've had to clean the surface of them with alcohol wipes or rubbing alcohol before applying stickers even without any dirt on them and they stay on for a bit, but after a couple of trail runs the dirt causes the stickers to come off which is unfortunate
2: The main panels may be thicker than the stock Capra Currie panels but they will crack and break easier. I have only scuffs and scratches on my stock panels and I've abused them a little bit more than my V1 RCCS panels and I managed to crack my RCCS V1 hood panel in 2 spots, and completely break a side off the trunk bed panel, I believe this is because they are 3D printed but it's not a huge deal I am hard on my Capra and it's taken quite a few big tumbles on rocks that's why I ordered a new set so when my current V1 panels are toast I have backups to replace them.
I'd recommend the RCCS body panels to anyone they really give a custom and improved appearance to stock, sure they may be a little weaker than the stock panels but nothing is indestructible, they hold up really well and can handle a lot.
RCCS also looks after and takes care of their customers, I did not contact RCCS customer service when I made my order, I only ordered 1 replacement set of V1 RCCS panels, 1 trunk bed and 1 set of 4WS fenders all in black with red vents, when I received my order I got
1 hood panel
1 roof panel
2 door panels (1 per side)
2 grill panels
2 trunk bed panels
2 sets of 4WS fenders
1 set of clipless hood mounts
2 stickers and a 3D printed RCCS Keychain
They are aware of the trunk bed and fender panels being thinner and flimsy so they may have sent me extra which I appreciate and think it's awesome
I have attached 5 photos to this review (3 photos of my current hood panel after 10 months of abuse 1 of those 3 I marked the cracks in the bottom of the hood so they can be seen, 1 photo of my trunk bed panel after I replaced it and 1 photo of my entire Capra to show how well these panels hold up after 10 months of abuse)
Excellent quality thumb steer controls for the Flysky GT5 radio, everything is 3D printed, very stong and sturdy, offers plenty of reach for anyone whether it's a child with small hands or an adult with large hands, the tire is not included with the thumb wheel but is an option to add to your order so make sure to select the spare tire option when making your purchase or you won't receive the tire with the thumb steer wheel
